Amanda LeFort MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC

Mental Health is Health

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), nationally accredited to provide psychiatric services across the lifespan to children ages 5 and up including adolescents/teens, college students, young professionals, adults, and seniors.

I have over 15 years of nursing experience and have specialized in psychiatry since 2016. I've worked in multiple settings including, but not limited to, the Emergency Department, Community Health Centers, Memory Care Units, and in Homecare. I spent the first half of my PMHNP career working on behavioral health integration in the primary care settling and finally changed gears in 2020 and opened Granite State Family Psychiatry.

I am licensed in New Hampshire and Massachusetts to diagnose, prescribe medications, and provide a therapeutic approach to manage mental health conditions. I am sure we can work together as a team in the management of your mental health needs.

I believe it is important for you to know a little about me in order to form a therapeutic relationship. I am a mother, wife, daughter and sister. I enjoy coaching my kids sports teams, running, and recreational target shooting. I am willing to try exercise and sports of almost any kind though I must admit soccer and rugby are my favorite.
